What is Mission Team Development Programme?

Mission Team Development Programme consists of

two self-guided (without an external coach) and eventful face-to-face workshops, which build on each other at an interval of 4 to 5 weeks.

1st Workshop

  • Goal: Lay a foundation of strenghts of the team.
  • Duration: 4.5 hours, including breaks.
  • A journey in five stages: The first Mission Team Workshop was designed as an exciting and eventful journey in five stages (more information: Practical framework of the strength approach):
    • Self-knowledge
    • Recognition diversity and otherness
    • Acceptance of diversity and otherness
    • Trust and
    • Individual decision to enable the succes of the «We»

2nd Workshop

  • Aim: Use each team member’s strengths and potential for the team’s success.
  • Duration: 2 hours including breaks.
  • The second journey starts with the decision for joint team success. The workshop provides practical training in using the strengths and potential of the group members for the team’s success.
  • Digital self-guiding enables valuable face-to-face interactions: your team guides itself through the workshop with the help of two likeable digital avatars. This allows the dynamics of your team to unfold in a completely natural and authentic way. This authenticity, almost intimacy within the team, allows trust and acceptance to flourish.

the evaluation of personal strengths by means of the implicit, visual questionnaire Visual Implicit Profiler (VIP)®,

A few weeks before the first Mission Team workshop, your team members establish their own strength profile by completing the VIP questionnaires online. They will need less than ten minutes to do this. The results – their individual strength profiles – will be handed out during the workshop.

and of follow-up exercises – the Compass Training!

In the weeks following the first workshop, participants get to practice what they learned and experienced. The Compass Training contains short and varied exercises lasting a few minutes

that can be done alone,

which are suitable for practising with a partner,

which are intended for the whole team.

A pack of cards in the Mission Team Box contains short, entertaining exercises allocated randomly to each team member for the first three weeks after the first workshop. In addition, all team members will find several exercises in their personal Mission Team folder.
